About broos Institute
The Broos Institute for Afrocentric Studies and Research aims to: promote the primary provision and broadening of high-quality secondary and scientific education in a broad context, with a focus on the background of the individual student, as well as performing all further actions that are related to the foregoing or may be conducive to this, all in the broadest sense of the word as referred to in Article 49 of the Secondary Education Act.
The foundation has started the process of setting up educational institutes at tertiairy education levels. To this end, we have entered into a partnership with the Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies (MITDS), giving students access to unique local and international Afrocentric programs at university level.
Our Broos Campus, an institute that offers tertiary level courses, will open in 2025. Our campus is a branch of the Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies in Ghana.
